Thank you for your interest in the services of My NutriDNA. We are fully committed to respecting the privacy of all our clients. This privacy statement will provide you with the knowledge of how your personal information will be collected, used, stored and destroyed. During this privacy statement, when we refer to “My NutriDNA”, “we” or “us”, we are referring to My NutriDNA limited which provides the services to you. The services refer to all services, consultations and websites provided by My NutriDNA. For the purpose of the Data Protection Act 2018 (the Act), the data controller is My NutriDNA limited.
All personal information collected through our services is used to provide a high level service to you. Prior to our service fulfilment, you will be required to consent to participation and complete the dietary and lifestyle questionnaire. Our legal basis for processing your personal information is so that we can fulfil our service to provide high quality analysis and personalised nutritional advice.
Any information that you provide is kept secure. Data that is no longer required is erased following your final consultation, unless you have specified otherwise.
What personal information do we collect and use?
In order for My NutriDNA to provide you with a high quality service, we will have to collect and process personal information about you. The personal information we collect includes:
General personal information, such as, your name, age, gender, address and contact details (phone number and email address). Additional information will be collected regarding your dietary and lifestyle habits, to aid My NutriDNA in providing personalised nutritional advice.Sensitive personal information - DNA, will be collected to enable My NutriDNA to perform its services. Please read our Data Protection policy to understand how we handle data.
Our genetic testing services:
Your DNA will be extracted from a swab sample (included within the test kit provided by us) that you provided for genetic analysis. During the laboratory processing and analysis of your DNA sample will result in genotype information.
Where do we store your personal data?
All information that you provide is stored on secure servers. Any personal information that you provide includes an agreement to the transfer, processing and storing of your personal information. All payment transactions will be encrypted.
Your DNA sample will be processed and stored at a world-renowned accredited laboratory (ISO15189). Your DNA sample will be destroyed 3 months after processing.
Your rights:
During the time My NutriDNA is processing your personal data, you have the right to the following:
Request a copy of current information we have about you. Correct the current data that we have that is incomplete or inaccurate. Request that current data we have about you to be erased from our records.
Complaints:
